Been away from deviant and sadly missed messages for me , appologies
I will be doing more regular updates of work and things happening with projects
I've just joined Instagram as JON_HAWARD_ART
and Tumblr as
Hawardarthouse50 if any of you out there would seek out and like ? Would be appreciated
also I have a fan page on Facebook JON HAWARD FAN PAGE
this year is my 30th anniversary as a professional artist , lots of exciting things hopefully will be happening one I'm proud of starting in March
COFFEE HEART COMIC ART WITH JON HAWARD a new art club I'm starting with Coffee Heart to teach my skills to local kids and adults , found out the last two years I enjoy mentoring and teaching .
In April I return to Staffordshire Uni for Stokecon and also to check up with the cartoon and comix art dept students .
I'm developing a new character I'm writing and drawing for Aces Weekly I'll be posting art for that soon
So hope you'll enjoy the new updates and sorry I've been away

while sorting through my piles of art i found these 16 pages drawn in 1999 for then DC Editor Dan Raspler of the Justice League of America.
It's unpublished work which could have ended up in a JLA annual.
anyway some pages still hold up and it was a fun sample project to work on.
todate i'm still waiting to get that call from DC lol.

The book is a collection of strips drawn in a ten year period that appeared in Northern Lightz and Wasted magazines written by Alan Grant and coloured and lettered by Jamie Grant with pin up's from comic book legends Cam Kennedy, Glenn Fabry, Simon Bisley and Dave Taylor.
a printed version will be out for (fingers crossed) Christmas with extra suprises and comic strips.
